Cllr. Kate Dodd - Wakefield North - No 17 Ward

Wakefield North is the Wakefield Metropolitan District Council ward made up of Wakefield City Centre, St John’s, Silcoates, Peacock, Flanshaw, Darnley, and Alverthorpe.

Kate says: “My heartfelt thanks to all the residents in Wakefield North who voted for me. I feel deeply honoured to be given this chance to work for our community and will do so tirelessly. There is so much to do. To those who voted for other candidates, I am still your councillor and will be there for you regardless. I care deeply about the district and its potential to be a better place for us all and for future generations.”

The Executive Committee facilitates the day-to-day running of Wakefield District Green Party and action decisions arising from AGMs, EGMs, and monthly membership meetings.
